Sea Quest has once again pushed the envelope in BCD design with the creation of the Fusion BCD. This innovative design (patent pending) captures the best qualities of a traditional jacket style BCD and back inflation BCD to create a new category of buoyancy compensator - The Fusion! Unsurpassed comfort in any position under the water, or on the surface. Every ounce of buoyancy on the Fusion is carefully positioned to provide the diver with arm-chair comfort while on the surface and effortless horizontal positioning during the dive. Revolutionary new air cell design combines the compact and streamlined profile of a back mount BCD, with the comfort and stability of a traditional wraparound jacket BCD. The bulk of the Fusion's buoyancy is located in the area directly behind the diver in the recess between the tank and the diver. This is optimal for a diver in the swimming position to reduce drag and achieve a streamlined profile. Forward air lobes located under the weight pouches directly offset the force exerted by the weights. These lobes working in conjunction with the fixed weights in back, recline the diver at the surface for ultimate comfort
